Summer Academy Scholarship
All current 2nd, 3rd and 4th-grade students who have a strong academic record and demonstrated leadership qualities are eligible to apply for the Chaminade Summer Academy Scholarships. Applicants will be required to demonstrate these qualifications in their applications and submit a recommendation from a current teacher or principal.
Successful applicants will receive a $350.00 scholarship for application toward their Summer Academy tuitionand registration fees. All materials and fees for courses are included in the tuition cost.
In their applications, students will write a short response explaining how they demonstrate leadership at their school or in their community. Students should submit their application, and recommendation forms to the Center for Excellence Office at Chaminade College Preparatory on or before the application deadline on April 1, 2023. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the student’s qualifying application, including the written response, and recommendation of their teacher or principal.
Scholarship winners will be invited to attend one session of a Chaminade Summer Academy at either of Chaminade's campuses in Chatsworth or West Hills. There are 15 full scholarships available for the summer of 2020. Recipients will also be asked to help promote the scholarship program the following year.
